Ever since its inception in 1999 as Chinafloor, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR(DACF) has experienced extraordinary growth and achievements during its past years of development. The show was officially named DOMOTEX asia/ CHINAFLOOR(DACF) in 2002 after creating a partnership with Deutsche Messe, organizer of the world leading fair in floor coverings - DOMOTEX HANNOVER.

A steady growth has been achieved during its 11 years and noticeably during the global economic crisis. Besides its international presense, the exhibition turned its focus to local manufacturers and supply chains where it maintained a rapid growth for the Asian flooring market in early 2009. In 2009, the show occupied eight halls with total gross space of 89,125 square meters and hosted 909 flooring companies from 38 countries, show casing their latest products and solutions. During the three days period, the show welcomed a total of 36,986 professional visitors from China and abroad.
