Fuzhou Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone
Fuzhou High-tech Development Zone was set up in 1988 and approved by the State Council in March 1991. In 1995, Fuzhou Municipal Government decided to build Baiyi Electronic Information City, which covers 1.2 square km in the zone, making it the lead electronic industrial zone in Fuzhou. The Administrative Commission of Mawei High-tech Park was set up in the zone in 1999. It covers an area of 5.6 sqkm, and it is the area between Gushan Channel and Mawei Channel, Jiangbin Road and Fuma Road.
