Nordic Industrial Park, Ningbo
The Nordic Industrial Park Co. Ltd. (NIP) is a wholly foreign-owned and operated industrial & business park located in the port city of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The main shareholder of NIP is the privately-owned investment company Styrbjørn AS (www.styrbjorn.com) located in Stavanger, Norway. NIP was registered in September 2002 and started full operations in early 2004.
NIP’s international management team with extensive China experience and know-how takes care of daily operations. NIP operates as a full service and facility provider of professional business services in combination with high-quality facilities for rent. All clients are 100% foreign-invested small and medium-sized companies from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, USA, Britain and Australia.
The total land area of NIP is 282,000 square meters for industrial and business related activities in which a large part consists of open spaces, landscaping and greenery. NIP has completed a total floor area of 175,000 square meters of production, assembly and office facilities.
From Ningbo City you have two-and-half hour’s drive by car and coach to Shanghai by crossing the Hangzhou Bay Bridge. Shanghai can also be reached by high-speed train via Hangzhou which currently takes less than three hours.
NIP is located in the Zhenhai district 30 minutes drive from downtown Ningbo. Access to the inner ring-road system is just one kilometer away from NIP with direct access to Ningbo City. The outer ring-road system is two kilometers away with direct access to the highway system connecting Ningbo to Hangzhou and Shanghai. The Ningbo Subway currently under construction, with a planned subway station at NIP, will make Ningbo even more accessible.
